Color Rendering Index (Max+100) – CRI is a measure of how closely the lamp renders colors of objects compared to a standard source.
Daylight and all incandescent and halogen sources typically have CRI’s of 93-98. CRI is a measure of how close to incandescent color it is for warm lamp. CRI is measured how close to daylight it is for a very cool lamp.
Sources with very distorted colors will have a low CRI. In general, the higher the CRI the more natural in appearance of the source and the richer the colors appear.
